resizing pics question ? ? ?

Sorry theres no pic with it, I have 1 but it wont let me upload it. Keeps saying the file is to big. Is there a way to get it smaller?

yes, there are serveral programms which can change the size of the image and / or the compression rate.

In my opinion Iran View can do this as example (freeware).

Or you can sent it to me and I edit it for you (see my PM)

Personnally, for resize photos, I use photofiltre : it's a tiny program (3Mo), but it's very fast to start it

the programm exist in French and in english, but there are a lot of files to change the lanquage of the program, and all are free

I like Picasa from google. Go to Google labs to download it. I have photoshop CS2, but have not been using it because Picasa is so quick and easy with photo editing and resizing.

But Photoshop is just as easy! Just go to "actions" and make a new action. Go to image, type in what size you want,and then save the action. Upon execution of action, it will ask you what jpg quality you want - from 1 to 12 with 1 being the lowest (and hence the smallest) file. And thats all theres to it!
